EXECUTIVE TEAM
CHAIR

Lauren Koek
Co-Founder, Chair
Lauren is a first year student at the Singapore Management University pursuing a degree in Computing and Law. She founded Future Lawyers in 2019 with hopes of providing youth the opportunity to network with fellow students and legal professionals as well as the necessary resources to better understand a career in Law. Since then, she serves as the Chairperson of Future Lawyers managing the different chapters around the world. She is also a business development executive for her university’s club, Career Champions, where she connects with professionals across different industries. Overall, Lauren is passionate about making a positive impact on the legal industry with the skills that she gains from her multidisciplinary degree.
In her free time, she loves creating new dishes and rock climbing with her sister. She is extremely excited to embark on this new journey with the five chapters (and counting) of Future Lawyers and looks forward to sharing Future Lawyers’ resources with more individuals worldwide.

Nina Zhuang
Marketing Lead
Nina Zhuang is a grade 12 student at Unionville HS. She enjoys playing violin, producing music, learning about social sciences, and creative writing. She is also passionate about social justice and is interested in exploring how the law plays a role in social activism and change. Helia is a Grade 10 student from Richmond Hill, Ontario. Growing up with a passion for law and the social sciences, Helia plans to pursue a career in the field of law. Jasmine Chen is a grade 9 student currently attending St. Robert CHS. She hopes to educate both herself and others in regards to the legal field during her time at Future Lawyers, as well as possible careers in law. External Affairs Executive
Jiwoo is a Grade 12 student at Markville Secondary School. As the social science field has
often fascinated her interest, she is hoping to pursue this passion through the legal field.
Aside from this, she is often found involved in anything musical. Her aspirations to lend a
hand to society and her humanity focused perception is Jiwoo’s best characteristics she
offers to Future Lawyers and to all of today’s youth. Jiwoo is pleased to make productive
contributions to this year's Future Lawyers International team and strives to stretch the
initiative for the global youth!

Camille is the editor-in-chief at Future Lawyers International, and is situated in Montreal, Canada. Apart from FLI, she enjoys volunteering with other non-profit organizations, writing, performing on stage, and drinking bubble tea while having a mild existential crisis.

Chelsea is a fourth year Bachelor of Commerce Student at Saint Mary's University. She loves to read, and will actually be attending law school at UNB in September of 2022.! She's wanted to be a lawyer since she was 9 years old, and is very excited to help others learn more about the legal field through Future Lawyers Halifax.

Hannah is a fourth year student at Saint Mary’s University. She is majoring in Criminology and minoring in Social Justice and in French. She’s always been interested in the legal field and is looking to pursue a non-lawyer career in the legal field after her studies. Tamer is a fourth year student at Saint Mary's University. He is a Political Science major with a passion for legislation and business. He hopes to go to law-school and study corporate law. Tamer loves serving the community as a volunteer for a number of charitable organizations including ISANS and March of Dimes. In his free time he develops his graphic design skills and engages in entrepreneurial activities.

Collin Robertson is in grade 11 at Halifax West high school. Collin has always been interested in the legal field as there have been many people involved in the field in his life and all of them love what they do and at the end of the day they feel like they have helped someone or changed peoples lives for the better and that is something that he would like to be able to do. In his freetime you can find Collin in the woods building Mountain trails with friends, on the slopes snowboarding on the freshly groomed snow, or trying to get that one song perfect on the drums.

In addition, she greatly enjoys exploring new opportunities and meeting new people, as well as playing tennis, dancing and being a music/language-learning fanatic in her free time. She is honored to undertake the role of Co-president of the Future Lawyers chapter in Singapore, and looks forward to the success of the organization!

For as long as she can remember, in her few short years on Earth, she has always had a burning passion for law, debating and advocacy. She also fiercely believes in giving a voice to the unheard. You will most likely catch her reading, writing, playing chess, making music and more random things in her free time. She looks to pursue a career in law and shape the world for the better. She is honoured to be co-leading Future Lawyer's Singapore chapter and developing it!
