Q&A PANEL SPEAKERS

Klara Danielson.png

Klara was called to the bar in both British Columbia and Ontario in 2021.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Klara completed her Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Behavioural Neuroscience at the University of Toronto. She then obtained her Juris Doctor with a specialist in Health Law from the University of Ottawa, where she graduated magna cum laude and had the privilege of being the Faculty’s inaugural Valedictorian.

Klara articled at a full-service litigation firm in Vancouver, which exposed her to a wide range practice areas such as medical malpractice, commercial and construction disputes, professional licensing complaints, human rights law, and insurance law. After completing her articles, Klara moved back to Ontario and practiced general litigation at small firm in Ottawa. Wanting to take a break from private practice, Klara began working for the federal government at Environment and Climate Change Canada. Her role as a physical scientist requires her to combine both her science and legal knowledge to manage the risks associated with toxic new substances.

When Klara is not working, you can find her trying out new board games with friends, playing music with her partner, snowboarding, or travelling generally. She is also busy these days, as she recently got an English Cocker Spaniel puppy who goes by the name “Daisy”.
